You Fancy, Huh?

It’s the beginning of the school year and we all know what that means: homecoming and formal dances. Although dances are tons of fun, that excitement comes with stress and drama. Picking out the perfect dress is probably the most nerve-racking of the things that come with dances. You have to make sure that your dress is flattering, no one else has it, and on top of that, that it is inexpensive! Although I have only attended one homecoming and have only been to a few formal dances, the pressure that builds up from trying to find the perfect dress always makes me never want to go to one again! Nonetheless, when you get passed this dress hassle, dances and formals can be tons of fun!


 In terms of dresses, I tend to gravitate more towards either classic or knee length princess dresses.  Although classic dresses aren’t as trendy as high low dresses with sparkles, they are timeless. I feel that the dresses I have below could work for any school dance, wedding, sorority recruitment, formal, or even a business party (depending on your age). I tried to include a various amount of styles and prices (most are under $50) that might suit your taste.

Don't Be A Pansy!

Making the outfit transition from summer to fall can be hard! You just don’t quite feel ready to trade in your colorful shorts for plain colored jeans. And finding the balance between bright hues and crisp air can be difficult! Although patterned pink and yellow pants aren’t the most worn thing in the fall, who says you can’t change it up a bit? Being a lover of bright colors and cable knit sweaters, I have no problem with making my "Fall" outfits more like Spring and Summer attires!
